For the third time this month, US warplanes have bombarded southern Baghdad. The massive bombing hit more than 30 targets in Arab Jabour, a rural Sunni area which suffered comparably heavy strikes on January 10th and 16th. A total of 99 targets have been destroyed in the region this month alone.

The military has not released details on civilian casualties, but was eager to give out truly important information like the weight of the bombs and the number of supposedly terrorist targets which were hit so that bellicose nationalists could have an excuse to high five their friends and suggest that we turn the entire Middle East into a glass crater since this is all one giant pissing contest.
