Corporate interests in Cleveland are spending huge amounts of money on television and elsewhere to make sure that Dennis Kucinich is not re-elected to the U.S. Congress. If you want to make sure that they don’t get away with buying an election and buying a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, please consider making a contribution today so Dennis can buy the advertising time he needs to continue being the voice of truth, courage, and integrity.
Dennis Kucinich is being outspent 5-1. Contribute to his re-election campaign here. If the Democrats are kept from throwing away another election, a dangerously undue sigh of relief will sweep over America as they take the White House. Kucinich’s voice will be needed more than ever to give America the truth about these corporatists.

[…] might I refer?) are working hard to kick out a true-blue progressive from Congress in November. The Largest Majority has the story, a video and a rather chilling word-to-the-wise: Dennis Kucinich is being outspent 5-1. If the Democrats are […]

I know he is your man..but its not hard to outspend someone who at the end of the year had less than $4000 dollars in the campaign kitty for his congressional run. I also know he is a fighter of corporate influence. But I would argue he is playing a bit of the victim here blaming his disadvantage on corporate fat cats. He has been a bit distracted with his presidential run. I respect the passion you have for his candidacy but I believe he got himself into this position of having to scramble for funds.

Clearly, elizabeth, you have not seen the disgusting (not to mention idiotic and inaccurate) ad Cimperman is running on TV.

And the crap this douche is posting on youtube is even worse:

I’m going to use the word “ironic” incorrectly once again for lack of a better term, but I find it highly ironic that Cimperman accuses Kucinich of absenteeism while he himself doesn’t even live in the district he’s currently running for!
Anyone who falls for his cheap smearing tactics is an idiot. Unfortunately, recent events have yet again confirmed that there are loads of idiots to go around.
You sound like Kucinich deserves to get voted out of congress because he was trying to get into a position which would allow him to make a greater positive change for all of us. All the issues he talked about in his presidential campaign - they were not empty promises, he was already working on them. Universal health care, impeachment, his anti-war position, etc. were all backed up by his record, as opposed to the corporate puppets we are now left with. He even used the little debate time the media saw fit to throw his way to tell people about how they could get involved and make their position clear to the government right then, without having to wait for the next president.
Your comment about being distracted would make sense if Kucinich only cared about his own interests, but I think it should be pretty clear by now that it’s not the case. Cimperman is trying to make it appear that the interests of the country as a whole are somehow in conflict with the interests of the people of Ohio. I don’t live in Ohio, personally, but last I heard, they were fine with being a part of the US. But, evidently, something is wrong with my brain because Cimperman’s reasoning makes sense to people other than himself.
