Nader has commented several times on how much he favors Gravel’s policies, specifically the National Initiative, over those of all the other candidates. A Gravel/Nader ticket seems to be in the cards, and I’m personally looking forward to it now that the only other liberal has been eliminated. If you outright refuse to vote for another pro-war fascist, sign this petition.

Is Gravel going Indy?
02/14/08 at 5:38 am
I’m surprised to see Davis endorsing Ralph Nader. I’ve seen in a few different sources rather questionable things about Nader, implying that he is actually just another corporate puppet, specifically placed by the power structure to give true liberals the illusion of a choice. I have no real information to support this, but I have heard it from sources ranging from Alex Jones to the site Crooks and Liars.

Having been inundated with disinformation and lies by corporate media for decades, it’s a wonder any American knows what to think. I say Nader and Gravel make an excellent ticket; but what do I know, I’m sitting on the other side of your border watching the whole trumped up fasçade unfold. A front row seat as it were for the biggest political puppet boondoggle of corporate power on earth, passed off as ‘democracy in action,’ of course.

@Andy
Nader’s been the victim of the Democratic smear machine for years. It’s actually rather comical that a party so subservient to corporate interests would accuse Nader of being a corporate puppet. Giving liberals “the illusion of choice” is exactly what the Democrats have been doing for decades. The party is to the right of center, yet they’ve convinced the public that voting for anyone to their left is a vote for the Republicans. It’s really quite absurd.
I wouldn’t consider Alex Jones a reliable source. He also doesn’t think global warming is man-made. Though Jones makes a good point every now and then, I’d take everything he says with a grain of salt. Crooks and Liars on the other hand is more reliable, but it’s also biased for being a Democratic blog. I visit their site regularly, but with the understanding that their posts will have that slant. They’re loyal to the Democratic Party before true liberal values, and come the general election, they’ll endorse whomever the Democratic nominee is. Of course they’re not fans of Nader.
@camelien
While our military is gone, I think it’s time Canada spread freedom and democracy to the American people by invading the States.
