For the first time in this campaign season, the issue of Palestinian independence and Israeli human rights violations are finally talked about on mainstream television, and it’s Ralph Nader who had to bring it up. Does having a Democrat in the White House make a difference? Not if you’re Palestinian.

Tucker Carlson is a douchebag who doesn’t have any idea what he’s talking about 98 percent of the time. We’re all in agreement there. Still, you’ve gotta give credit where credit is due. Tucker did have Dennis Kucinich on his show when no one else would, and now he has Nader on to talk about some taboo subjects within the Democratic Party. Tucker’s motives for inviting both men on his show are obviously less than praiseworthy, but no publicity is bad publicity when your goal is to raise awareness, as Nader’s is.

  1. Ralph Nader: Unsafe at Any Speed…

“He thought that there was no difference between Al Gore and George Bush, and, eight years later, I think people realize that Ralph did not know what he was talking about.” - Barack Obama

  2. At 6:22, Tucker explains that he’s not being paid off by “the nuclear people … except for NBC.” You’ve got to love his candor.

He says 80% of Americans are pro-Israel? What exactly does being “pro-Israel” mean? Does it mean supporting a 40 year illegal occupation along with gross human rights violations and constant terror and atrocities? Or does it mean supporting a two-state solution, as most Israelis and Palestinians do?

  3. If you can’t see through the 1 liner sporting event rhetoric you wont recognize a person of such great morel social and political depth as Ralph Nader

  4. “dennis kucinich on his show when no one else would”????? democracynow.com, amy goodman brought dennis kucinich on the show after the vegas debates, talked/interviewed him for an hour, and gave him the opportunity to answer all questions asked in the debate

  5. I’m guessing he meant no one else on mainstream TV. DemocracyNow! is the shit, but it doesn’t reach the mainstream audience MSNBC does. I think FoxNews had Kucinich on a bunch of times too though.
