Admiral William Joseph Fallon, who served as Commander of the US Central Command, has seemingly been forced to resign for having independent thoughts. Fallon has publicly opposed war with Iran since his confirmation hearings in January 2007, when he told the US Senate that we needed to exhaust all diplomatic options before military options could be considered.
