President Bush walked into a barrage of boos as he delivered the first pitch at the Nationals Park in Washington, DC last night. Bush plays for the Petro-imperialists, has an average bedtime of 9pm, a death toll of 1.3 million, and closes out his career with 2 stolen elections under his belt. He certainly has secured his place in history.

  1. Jeez, whose butt was that announcer kissing during that clip? Good grief… the man was nearly booed off the field… I would have loved to see trash being thrown out onto the field.

Go home, George… nobody loves you!

  2. To be fair, it was only 1 stolen election. 2004 was when the American People failed.

  3. @PapaFigue
    Actually, he stole both elections:
Michael Parenti documents the abnormal outcome in “The Stolen Presidential Elections.”
    http://www.michaelparenti.org/stolenelections.html

Youtube Hacking Democracy to see a video detailing the electronic voting machine problems in the 2000 and 2004 elections.

Also, a documentary American Blackout, discusses some voting machine problems and voter disenfranchisement which predominantly targeted the African-American community during Cynthia McKinney’s Congressional run and the 2000/2004 elections. (Example of voter disenfranchisement: Waiting to vote for several hours in poor weather conditions because of too few voting machines).

While your links are indeed some compelling stuff, and while the electoral system in this country Obviously needs to be reformed, the fact is that Kerry was nowhere near a strong candidate, he only appeared so next to Bush. It’s like saying a turd with frosting Appears better than a turd without.
Couple that with the fact that less than a third of Americans actually vote, and third of this number are Christian Fanatics, it’s not hard to argue that the American people share a great deal of blame.

Oh, don’t misunderstand, I agree with you that the American people share a great deal of blame; and that Kerry was far from a great, or even good, candidate.

I just find it tremendously hard to believe Bush not only retained his voters, but also garnered a large percentage of new voters in the 2004 elections given his disapproval rating and the state of the country.

Hahaha, what a great analogy. It applies to this political season just as much as the last one.
