Thank you for posting about this. My cousin is Cyrus Kar and his two month detention was a nightmare for our family. The only reason he was released was because my family and the ACLU filed a suit against Bush and Rumsfeld. Soon after the suit was filed he was released, it never went to trial. We assume because the US gov wanted to avoid any additional publicity, that this is the only reason he was released so soon (if you consider 2 months soon). I still can’t believe it ever happened.
