Thank Jah there are still black leaders like Reverend Jeremiah Wright who have the courage to speak loud and truthfully. On the internet, I’ve already had the unfortunate opportunity to see Tucker Carlson, probably the most detached white person on the planet, denounce Wright as a bigot. Irony anyone?
Video of the entire speech available below the fold.
There was a large public outcry concerning the hit job that ABC did during the most recent presidential “debate” by creating false distractions. And yet, so soon after that event the entire corporate media is back in full force, playing soundbites out of context and asking pundits who know nothing about Black Nationalism, theology, sociology, or struggle in general, what the American people should think about such “an evil and hateful man”.
Wright is an intelligent black social critic who is unapologetically critical of the powers that be. That’s what truly scares these pundits who hide their own racism and outright fear behind the accusations they recklessly toss around.
Watch this entire speech and tell me if you feel anything other than inspired. Wright’s speech was centered on the unifying message that “different is not deficient”. To take any quote from a speech about not passing judgment as being hateful or bigoted, you’ve gotta be trying really hard to intentionally twist Wright’s words. With such a deliberate attempt to assassinate another black leader for exercising his right to free speech, it’s not hard to tell who the true enemies of America are.
Pay attention. This man drops knowledge on several topics. h/t VotersThink

The corporate media’s shameless cacophony directed towards Rev. Wright is truly pathetic. I hadn’t seen the entire speech until a minute ago, but if I was to form an opinion of the day’s event based solely on what I saw on the mainstream media — fortunately, I don’t — I would have thought Reverend Wright a caricature (though, my prior knowledge on statements he made would set things aright).
Regarding the actual speech, Wright’s passion and commitment to promoting our understanding of each other was both inspiring and entertaining (Obama should take notes). The part in which he spoke on the different, but not deficient, musical traditions of Europeans and Africans was enriching. Also, it’s considerable he addressed the Arabic issue, as corporate America continues to stigmatize anything with an Arabic flavor — names, cultural traditions, etc.

Hm, nope, I didn’t see or hear anything that was either divisive or…whatever else Obama later described it as that made it worthy of attack.
However, I did see one thing that could cause a lot of people to believe that divisiveness and destruction were the points of Rev. Wright’s speech. And that is the retarded caption that appears near the bottom of the frame. At minute 9:05 of part 2, and then again at minute 6:05 of part 4, (and probably a couple other times that I missed,) the caption reads, “Rev. Wright: We now see others who are different as deficient.”
This is obviously an ignorant and divisive statement, but did it come from Wright? Given the near ridiculous number of times he repeated, and had the audience repeat, the Exact Opposite Statement, I would say no.
Way to go Faux News. Apparently your typists don’t speak Blackenese. And way to go Obama for your stupid criticism. Maybe you should have actually listened to the speech rather than relied on Faux News’ report.
Jesus.
