More US war crimes:
US military operations have left at least 6 Iraqi civilians dead and 40 wounded including women and children in Baghdad’s Sadr City.
Iraqi security and medical officials confirmed the civilians were killed and injured during 12 hours of intense US operations overnight that ended at 8 a.m. (5:00 GMT) on Monday.
The US military was not immediately available for comment.
Since March 25, Sadr City has been a target of US military attacks and the populated slum area has frequently been pounded by US aircraft or artillery, leading to heavy loss of civilian life.

Really should report both sides. Modern urban warfare against heavily armed extremists firing from the cover of civilian buildings will cause these terrible deaths. If the insurgents are really fighting for these civilians then they should move the women and children out of areas in which they engage American forces. Hiding behind women and children as a tactic of war is the true crime here.

I think arguing which side’s killed more civilians is a moot point. There will always be collateral damage in battle, especially, as YaIdiot pointed out, in urban warfare. Perhaps he has a point in the reporting both sides thing, but then again, the ‘other’ side is what corporate news calls Regular Programming.
Sites like this is where one ACTUALLY goes to get both sides.
Wanna end US’s involvement in civilian casualties in Iraq, then we must leave Iraq. Civilians will still die, but then the evil liberals won’t be able to peg our boys for it.
