In a truly democratic society, democracy isn’t simply limited to the political process but is incorporated into every aspect of daily life. Workers must essentially own the means of production because capitalism is fundamentally opposed to democracy. Anything less than real socialism in America will equal the collapse of our country, not to mention our environment.   2. Thanks for posting these videos, I must have missed them the other day as I subscribe to The Real News’ channel.

    The older I become the stronger my feelings are that we need to have Socialism. Don’t know whether I’ll ever see it happen, but it sure is worth working towards. The workers of the world must unite!
