Since the presidential race was forcibly narrowed down to just two candidates, both Hillary and Bill haven’t been able to abstain from making divisively racist remarks every time they suffer a defeat. Rather than denounce Hillary’s comment outright, the Daily Show decided to take it seriously by asking how Obama ever hopes to win if he can’t attract “hard-working Americans” AKA white people.
Riggle’s Money Quote: “This leaves him with choice number 2: convince white people to stop working so hard and become the kind of non-hard-working Americans that make up Obama’s base.”
