Once again, the fake news has shown us what real journalism looks like. Jon Stewart was able to rationally dismantle Feith’s strawman arguments without making the war criminal feel like he received an unfair trial. Thank God someone still has the balls to speak truth to power. Though I wish the show were longer in order to cover more topics relating to the invasion and occupation, this is indeed one of Stewart’s best interviews.

I guess because Jon is a small man, he didn’t want to reach out and slap the fuck out of that lying bastard like I want.

True, this is one of Stewart’s best interview, but Stewart could have destroyed Feith if he chose to travel the route of dismantling the whole ‘Iraq was a threat’ argument or that the Iraq War was a last resort because Bush really ‘wanted’ diplomacy: macroeconomics, at the least, dictate otherwise. Besides, there was at the time prior to the war, 2002-2003, enough evidence contrary to the Bush administration’s drum-beat propaganda. Though, that isn’t Stewart’s style, nor would he have enough time to make such a case.
