No other third party candidate has the ability to make waves like Nader. There is much we can learn from the man.
Hat tip to William Hughes for the video.
On Friday, May 30, 2008, Ralph Nader, an announced presidential candidate in the ‘08 election, met with volunteers in his campaign at a Dundalk, MD restaurant. The purpose of the get together was to launch a statewide effort to officially place the “Independent Party” on the ballot for the November election. Ten thousands signatures, under state law, are required to secure that objective. After a luncheon, I asked Mr. Nader, the legendary advocate for the consumers and corporate gadfly, about his ballot initiative. He shared his views on that effort and related matters. Mr. Nader underscored: “If only the people knew that they have the power!” For background, please see: votenader.org.

Nader is a warrior. He has carried more water for stupid consumers for more years. All he asks is that you remain intellectually honest in any debate or issue. Just like Kucinich and perhaps Upton Sinclair. All the rest are just posing for the cameras and burnishing their legacy. Where are the true honest progressives who will not be framed or boxed out on an issue? Oh yeah. They are outside the debate hall trying to get through security.
Hey MR keep up the great work. I read here everyday.

I know you do and I thank you for it. Though I usually don’t reply to comments unless it’s to argue with someone, I do read each one. I appreciate your support and that of the other regulars we have here.
Oh, and to all regular readers, please remember to click the ads on the side bar or anywhere you see them during your daily visits. It’s a good way to show your appreciation.
