Obama Caves Again by Ending Membership in His Church

I know I’ve said it before but Barack Obama is a pussy. A big fucking pussy.

How can you tell that Obama is a Democrat? Because he caters to every interest with the exception of his own base. The people that hold the most influence over Obama are corporations, war-mongers, bigots, and your general mouth-breathing Fox News conservatives. When has Obama stood up for any liberal critical of American society or foreign policy?

This is the “change candidate”? This spineless coward is the one who’s going to bring change after 8 years of George W. Bush? I’m not impressed.

The Democrats told us they were the party of change in 2006 and would bring an end to the war if we gave them a majority in Congress. Most Americans believed in that promise of change, and it never came. Now we’re looking forward to another election, a war with Iran, and the Democrats are telling us that they need a Democratic president to bring about the change they promised two years ago.

Are voters really that fucking stupid to believe that we need a Democratic president to deliver us from Democratic stagnation? Yes we’ve had 8 horrible years of Bush, but we’ve also had a Democratic majority in Congress during those last two years which has done nothing but capitulate to everyone but us. Obama himself has said he won’t have all troops out of Iraq by the end of his first term, so where exactly is this “change” when all of his actions and positions support the status quo?

It’s actually seemed to me that Obama and Senator Clinton have been in a race for the Republican nomination, reminiscing about the good ol’ days of Reagan, denouncing Carter for engaging in diplomacy, and persecuting some uppity black preacher who dared to suggest that America is not God’s favorite nation. And that’s the problem isn’t it? Trinity United Church of Christ represents a real Christian community in which the illegitimate rule of immoral institutions are recognized as going against the true message of Christianity. How dare they!

True Christianity teaches its followers to find liberation from tyranny, and that’s the kind of message that is simply unacceptable in an American Empire. All we have room for is fundamentalist Protestant cults which pledge allegiance to the president as if he and God are the same person. Religion is a hobby in America, meant to further your indoctrination as a non-thinking consumer who submits to authority. It’s not actually supposed to encourage people to ask questions, raise controversy, or spark debate. When it does, then it collides with those in government and business who make their living off of immorality.

Obama has shown that he lacks the spine to change anything in this miserable country, conceding to tyranny and ignorance even before stepping into office. To paraphrase the good Reverend Wright, God damn America and God damn Barack Obama. May God have more mercy on you than we will.

  6. What amazes me about this whole thing is this comparison that keeps being drawn between the Hagee dispensationalist cultist maniacs and Rev. Wright.

    These deranged dispensationalists have this bizarre interpretation of scripture where the jews have to take over Palestine so these evangelical wackos then get swept up while the world gets nuked, while Wright simply said “Americas chickens are coming home to roost”.

    Rev; Wright is Right. He speaks of political reality, not cultist interpretations of scriptures advocating the aparthied state of hideous, armed-to-the-teeth Israeli conscriptees at the expense of the indigenous people of the region (And this is a so-called ‘Jew’ speaking here, there are indeed anti-zionist descendants of so-called jews, tho they now say we are so bloodthirsty because we are descendants of ‘Khazars’ from the Russian Steppe, not the 12-tribes… go figger!).

    As to the Catholic guy talking about Shillary crying, well he was probably right too. Certainly what he was saying was no where NEAR as dangerous and insidious as what this Hagee guy preaches, which is sheer genocide for the salvation of his flock in his insane scriptural fantasies (any protestant who complains about dates and virgins, just go through the dispensations these people preach and then tell me who is the more insane).

    If you rape and pillage the world to support an ill-gotten way of life at the expense of everyone and everything else, and then invest half of that ill-gotten bounty into a military machine which you then use to go and rape and pillage the world again, naturally people might become incurably outraged, islamists or not, about being bombed once again for no reason other than the west likes to bomb Arabs as it has done for a hundred years.

    Eventually people might have a problem with that, and fight back. I’m no advocate of militarism nor violent insurgencies, but then I’m not Sitting Bull nor Crazy Horse dealing with nothing less than a war of intolerant, ‘manifest-destiny’ racist extermination (and nobody can tell me that the hyper-militarized illegal state of Israel was the appropriate rebuttal against naziism, two wrongs definitely don’t make a right where genocide is the result, better to give up on this obsolete religion then go colonize some blood-soaked patch of desert at the expense of the people who live there for centuries!).

    It is time people stopped portraying Wright as a radical for speaking of political reality, and it is HIGH time the US populace deonounced for once and for all this absurd cult of evangelical mega-churched, mullet-headed radical right-wing maniacle evangelical born-again war-mongering greed-barons of the zionist protestant cultists.

    I’m no fan of mega-churches, but if I was gonna listen to some guy in a pulpit, I’d take Wright any day. Obama was wrong to denounce his convictions to appease the crackers in Fla and the rednecks in Ohio. It is time the most horrific military machine ever invented was divorced from Crackers and rednecks, and we got serious about the consequences of the endless illegal war-crimes of the USA.

  7. Sadly, out of the big three, Obama represents the only chance of possibly avoiding another unnecessary war. Albeit it’s an extremely slight chance, but I challenge any mathematician to prove that .05%=0%.

    As far as the rant against religion, that’s what I’ve been saying the whole time! The true universal tenets of any religion are generally lost on the majority. I would say I’m glad that more people are realizing this, but I’m not. It’s not always good to be right, especially when one is right about something sucking.
