That little hero from Ohio has done it again! Dennis Kucinich has become the second member of Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against President George W. Bush (the first being Cynthia McKinney). An email from the Kucinich for Congress campaign reads

Dear friends:

A few moments ago, (approximately 7:30 p.m. EDT), Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich took to the floor of the House of Representatives to present 35 Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush. The House session is being televised live on C-SPAN.

This truly is a good day for the USA and the allies of its citizens around the world. If it were legal for me to contribute to his campaign (I’m from Ireland), I would.

Both myself, Evmonk and Manila were part of the 35percenters, a pro Kucinich blogger group, and I couldn’t be happier with my favorite Dem as I am right now.

These articles of impeachment were drafted with the assistance of two friends of mine, John Judge and Mike Zmolek, wo were the original authors of Cynthia McKinney’s article of impeachment. So, hats off to Dennis, John, Mike, and everyone else that worked on the bill. Let us hope that it gets some support and George knows that he doesn’t get off that easily.
