Dukes of hazard, Rambo, Indiana Jones, Transformers, etc. Nostalgia for below-par schlock that reminds you of your childhood is getting somewhat tiresome, and it is only expanding thanks to the internet.
Thankfully, there are those who rebel against the orthodoxy of idiocy!
By the way, the cartoon referenced in the final frame is from ’Dinoriders‘ , which was most likely the product of a well baked cartoonist.

Yes, the current nostalgia kick is a bit sickening, and most of the films are pretty terrible. Haven’t seen any of the three you mentioned, but are you sure you can throw Indiana Jones into the mix? They were planning on making it since 1989 when the last one came out.
I think I remember “Dinoriders,” though. What a silly show.

Oh God Andy, have you seen Kingdom of the Crystal skull? That thing made my head spin like nothing else before. Commie bashing nonsense that revolved around aliens! Sorry for the spoiler, but I’m not giving too much away.

I hate nostalgia. I didn’t like it then and I don’t like it now.
