Code Pink activist slammed to the ground by cop at DNC

This is an absolutely sick example of police brutality against a female protester who is not creating any sort of disturbance watsoever. The police thug moves towards her and smashes his stick into her chest, knocking her down before arresting her some minutes later. I would hope that Kucinich and other rational Democrats get to see this disgrace.

I must be the only guest blogger who can not embed a video into this blog. Can someone please explain in the comments section. I have no problem on other wordpress blogs, but this is a different version to those that I use.

  1. Good code pink are a bunch of weirdo’s. How is anyone gonna take them seriously?

  2. @ above, What a weak troll.

  3. I guess it’s OK to slam supposedly weird people to the concrete? And at least Code Pink is doing something active; I find all of the millions of apathetic people far more weird.

  4. How can anyone make judgement on the officer actions when the investigation hasn’t taken place. All you see is 30-seconds of video. What took place prior to the Police Officer shoving the female? Was he provoked? Was she not listening to his commands? When a Police Officer gives a command you are REQUIRED to act.

My 2-cents is that she was looking for a story and got it. I’ll also bet that the Officer walks away clear of any wrong doing!

Keep up the good work Officers.

  5. @ Dave,

So you’re basically asserting that since we don’t know any further details, we simply should assume that the officer committing the act of violence is in the correct, while the woman laying on the concrete is at fault; i.e. blame the victim unless definitive proof is given otherwise. Typical statist bullshit.

  6. It will be difficult to pin down who the officer was considering most of the security at the Denver Convention did not wear the traditional ID’s usually worn. Which makes one wonder if non-identity makes for a more brutal force of individuals? With that I find it difficult to think the woman in pink did too much wrong to cause such actions.
