I don’t know how I missed this speech last night, but here it is:

Despite running only 6 minutes, the speech getting some great buzz. While many will criticize his appearance at and endorsement of the mainstream DNC, Dennis deserves kudos for bringing his message to whoever will listen.

If you missed it, former rancher-turned-Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer’s speech was the other most entertaining moment of the night.

  1. This whole DNC thing seems like just a massive circle jerk, although I do appreciate that Kucinich is able to get some sort of message out to a wide audience. It’s obvious that he had to change his language to better fit the party line, such as saying “the Iraq war” instead of “the occupation of Iraq,” and calling it “unnecessary” instead of “immoral” or even “illegal,” although he did hint at the latter. And I’m somewhat surprised that he got even more time than Carter, presumably because of Carter’s outspoken criticism of Israel. (*gasp* how dare he!)
