Well, it’s something.
A Willacy County grand jury returned multi-count indictments Monday against Vice President Dick Cheney, former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, and several other public officials for engaging in organized criminal activity.
Cheney stands accused of a conflict of interest for his investment in the Vanguard Group, which holds interests in private prison companies running the federal detention centers, and “at least misdemeanor assaults” on detainees by working through the prison companies. Gonzales is accused of using his position while in office to stop an investigation into abuses at the federal detention centers.
Other officials face a stream of criminal charges from abuse of office, profiting from office, and murder. Perhaps someday Cheney will also be held responsible for those genocides over in Iraq and Afghanistan. That is unless President Changy McHope pardons him so he can serve in his cabinet with the other war criminals.

Looks like the first and second ‘pardon’ from Dubya will be on their way, too. Corrupt to the bone those guys; one lies, the others swear to it. Then all is swept under the proverbial ‘rug.’ Same ole same ole….’neocon’ cover-up is inevitable.

Yeah, because no other president (cough cough, CLINTON, cough, cough) avoided prosecution or pardoned anyone questionable.
