Things never really change for the brainwashed in this country.
The hatred for the guy is amazing.
I look back at those days and see the fear tactics as persuasive as today. But what in the hell did anyone ever have to fear of hippies for goodness sake. Any BoogieMan will do, even peaceniks.

Glenn Greenwald made a movie about Abbie Hoffman called ‘Steal this movie!’. I think it’s available on google video. I don’t know if it is any good, but it might be worth checking out.
Otherwise, a good youtubing might produce results. Try google video with Abbie Hoffman as a search, there must be a documentary about him.
