Health care is a human right. Excluding single-payer experts from the “table” Obama promised we’d have a seat at is frankly criminal under international law and immoral by any standard.

On Thursday, March 5, 2009, the White House will host a summit on how to reform health care. The 120 invited guests include lobbyists for various interest groups including the private insurance industry (AHIP). No single payer advocates from the medical community have been invited to attend (surprise, surprise). Please urge President Obama to fulfill his promise for transparency and openness in government with this letter.
