We posted this video from Brasscheck TV just over 1 year ago. The corporate news media failed to investigate the connection between the political assassination of New York Governor Spitzer and his attack on predatory lenders then. Countless hours were dedicated to the governor and his whore, but the charges Spitzer had laid against the White House were widely unknown to the public as they were nowhere to be found between the detailed layers of media smut.

  1. Timely repost. It appears the rabbit hole behind Spitzer’s political assassination runs deeper.

In addition to his article in the Washington Post, Spitzer was set to testify before the House Financial Services Committee on the criminality of AIG and various investment banks like Goldman Sachs prior to being politically assassinated. As far as I know his testimony was prevented. Spitzer was effectively gagged when the DA kept open the chance for prosecution. (Play along or go to jail.) Consequently, an important voice that could have revealed the TARP fraud was silenced.

Recently, despite the threat of prosectuion, Spitzer has chosen to break his silence.
Last week he wrote an article for Slate in which he exposes the true scandal behind AIG. Cutting through the spin, Spitzer reveals that AIG is but a mere conduit to channel taxpayer’s money to it’s counterparties, particularly Goldman Sachs, at 100 cents on the dollar. He then proceeds to ask all the right questions to assess the culpability of several key people — Paulson, Bernanke, Geithner, Blankfein — in this sordid affair.

  2. If every politicians who visited a prostitute or ran around on their spouse was called to task for it, I agree there wouldn’t be many of them left. Still, being in the public eye like this is opening yourself up for having your character assassinated and your reputation ruined. The only way to beat stuff like this is to be a boy scout. No matter how much you try to cover your tracks, someone always has a motive to get you.
