Fair Treatment for BK Workers
The CIW is trying to come to an agreement with Burger King, the world’s second largest hamburger chain, to promise fair wages and working conditions to the farmworkers who pick their tomatoes. These workers make sub-poverty wages, are denied fundamental labor rights, and haven’t had a raise in nearly 30 years.
The CIW has already reached agreements with Taco Bell and McDonalds, but Burger King remains obstinate. To help, print out this letter and drop it off with a Burger King manager to let them know that local consumers are concerned about this issue.
